Hanyu Xing IoT Technology (Liaoning) Co., Ltd. was established in 1978 and is headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Originally, it began as a gas meter factory under Shenyang Liming Aeroengine Group Co., Ltd. Over the past 40-plus years, the company has remained dedicated to the research, development, production, and manufacturing of gas meters. Today, it has evolved into a high-tech enterprise integrating smart metering terminals, intelligent information service systems, advanced manufacturing capabilities, cutting-edge R&D, and comprehensive installation services. In 2021, the company came under the formal control of a state-owned enterprise affiliated with Shandong Province, and in 2022, it was officially incorporated into Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Group, becoming its wholly-owned subsidiary.
Hangyu Xing's core business encompasses four major segments: smart gas, smart water management, smart thermal energy, and smart information services. The company is positioned as a one-stop IoT solution provider for smart energy, offering tailored IoT solutions to meet diverse customer needs by building an integrated IoT service ecosystem that includes intelligent metering devices, smart controllers, cloud computing services, and a mobile internet platform.
Since its establishment, Hangyu Xing has consistently prioritized "leading product technology and relentless innovation" as the core driving force behind its competitive edge. The company has actively participated in drafting multiple national, industry, and group standards over the years. Today, Hangyu Xing has been appointed by the China Metrology Association as an expert for WTO/TBT notification and review processes, as well as a member of the Gas Meter Professional Technical Committee. Currently, the company holds more than 50 national intellectual property patents. Among these, Hangyu Xing’s fully independently developed ultrasonic metering device—featuring cutting-edge "China-made chip" technology—stands out uniquely in the industry. This breakthrough not only shatters the long-standing dominance of foreign technologies but has also earned the company several prestigious domestic and international patent certifications, effectively addressing the critical challenge of being "choked" by reliance on foreign key technologies. Additionally, Hangyu Xing has pioneered the industry’s first "intelligent electronic temperature- and pressure-corrected diaphragm gas meter," which has successfully resolved the longstanding issue of discrepancies between gas production, sales, and distribution for utility companies. By doing so, the product has created a truly fair, transparent, and equitable platform for both consumers and gas suppliers. As a result, this innovative solution has been repeatedly recognized with accolades such as Liaoning Province’s "Specialized, Fine, and New" product award, inclusion in the "Double Hundred Project"—a major national research initiative—and the prestigious "China Good Technology" title.
