The WGC2022 took place from May 23 to 27 in Daegu, South Korea, and was dubbed the "Olympics of the global gas industry." The event drew thousands of delegates from dozens of countries, while nearly 10,000 visitors attended the exhibition. South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol delivered a keynote speech at the conference.
The presidential handover ceremony held on the final day of the conference brought WGC2022 to a thrilling climax. Li Yalan delivered her inaugural speech, marking the moment China officially assumed the presidency for the IGU 2022-2025 term.
