Product Introduction
Safety-Controlled Gas Meters: Security Features Achieved
Real-time monitoring is conducted for phenomena such as traffic overload, abnormally high flow rates, extremely low flow rates, continuous constant flow, excessively low gas pressure, and elevated gas temperatures. In case of abnormalities, the system triggers an alarm, shuts off the valve, and uploads the corresponding alarm information.
Security features enabled through integration with an alarm system
A. Shutting off the valve in case of excessive indoor gas concentration
When abnormal gas concentrations are detected indoors, the linked alarm system immediately activates. Simultaneously, the alarm signal is transmitted wirelessly—using a low-power, long-range method—to the safety-controlled gas meter, which instantly triggers an alarm and shuts off the gas valve. The NB-loT network then uploads the alarm information to the backend system for further monitoring and response.
B. Disconnect the alarm's power supply and close the valve
If the user disconnects the power supply to the interconnected alarm device, the device will wirelessly notify the safety-controlled gas meter, which will immediately trigger an alarm and shut off the gas valve. In other words, when the interconnected alarm is not plugged in, the user cannot use gas.
Core Features
