Hangyu Xing
HANGYU XING IoT Technology (Liaoning) Co., Ltd. was established in 1978 and is headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Originally, it began as a gas meter factory under Shenyang Liming Aeroengine Group Co., Ltd. Over the past four decades, the company has remained dedicated to the metrology industry, becoming a high-tech enterprise integrating metrology product R&D, manufacturing, and installation services. In 2021, the company was acquired by a state-owned enterprise affiliated with Shandong Province, officially becoming a state-controlled enterprise.
Development Journey
1971: The company gets started
1978
China's first "rubber diaphragm gas meter" (replacing the sheepskin diaphragm) has been successfully developed.
1982
Establish a production line capable of manufacturing 200,000 units annually, becoming one of the four major watch manufacturers in China;
1985
Participated in the development of China's first national standard for gas meters, GB 6968-86 "Diaphragm Gas Meters";
1986
China has successfully developed its first "medium-pressure industrial turbine gas flowmeter," which has also earned a utility model patent.
1992
Successfully developed a turbine gas flowmeter with pressure compensation, which has been widely deployed at Shengli Oilfield in Shandong Province.
1995
The first domestic company to externally transfer gas meter technology (to Ukraine);
1996
Established the country's first "gas meter joint venture" (Shenyang LiHan Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd.);
1998
Lingming Gas Meter Factory was restructured into a "partnership enterprise," and the company was renamed Shenyang Hangyu Gas Meter Equipment Factory.
2004: Constant Innovation
2004
Shenyang Hangyu Gas Meter Factory has been restructured into a "Limited Liability Company," and the company has been renamed Shenyang Hangyu Xing Instrument Limited Liability Company.
2005
Opening the Uzbekistan international market, we exported 200,000 units of the G2.5 gas meter and have begun producing and selling IC-card gas meters.
2008
Successfully developed and mass-produced the "long-distance gas meter with small wireless handheld reader";
2011
China's first "temperature- and pressure-compensated diaphragm gas meter" has been successfully developed.
2013
Opening up the Russian international market, successfully developing the "audio gas meter";
Rapid Development in 2014
2014
The temperature- and pressure-compensated gas meter has entered mass production and has begun nationwide market sales and application.
2015
The aluminum-cased base meter has obtained "International OIML Certification";
2016
The company has been renamed "Liaoning Hangyu Xing IoT Instrument Technology Co., Ltd." and has been recognized by Liaoning Province as a provincial-level technology center. Meanwhile, the company has successfully developed the "Electronic Liquefied Gas Tank Meter," opening up opportunities in African markets.
2017
The iron-cased base meter has obtained "International OIML Certification";
2018
The company successfully secured a place among the partners of PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co., Ltd., marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration with five of China's leading gas groups.
2020: Comprehensive Expansion
2020
The company headquarters has relocated to the "Sujiatun District Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Base," while simultaneously introducing fully automated production equipment from South Korea.
2021
The company has been officially taken over by a state-owned enterprise group under Shandong Province, becoming a "state-controlled enterprise";
2022
The company has achieved "fully domestically produced manufacturing" of its ultrasonic gas meters, becoming the industry's first to independently develop a domestically made ultrasonic module.
2023
The company has drafted the group standard for "safety-shutoff gas meters";
