Far-Transmitting Diaphragm Gas Meter (NB-IoT)
The FarEasTone Membrane Gas Meter (NB-IoT) is built on a dedicated IoT network provided by a telecommunications operator and consists of a base meter, an intelligent control unit, and an NB-IoT communication module. This smart IoT membrane gas meter periodically transmits metering data, operational status, and other relevant information to a monitoring platform via the operator’s NB-IoT network. The platform’s data center then analyzes this information to perform tasks such as billing, settlement, real-time monitoring of meter status, and issuing commands directly to the meter—enabling features like intelligent metering, remote meter surveillance, online payment, and automated anomaly alerts.
By installing an "intelligent module," we’ve enhanced both software and hardware with advanced safety control features, enabling real-time monitoring of issues such as gas flow overload, abnormal flow rates, excessively low gas pressure, and prolonged constant-current operation timeouts—effectively creating a robust protective barrier to safeguard users’ lives and property.

The IC card-based membrane gas meter features prepaid functionality and tiered pricing, with the option to add a gas-leak detection and automatic valve-shutoff feature. Users can set multiple billing thresholds and customize various tiered rates, allowing the meter to automatically calculate the appropriate discount based on the month’s actual consumption. This next-generation smart gas flow meter utilizes an IC card for prepaid payment and incorporates advanced automatic billing capabilities.
